Asunta 5 Starburst Dragon Fruit live cuttings (TLM)

DESCRIPTION

This listing is for one cutting of the Asunta 5 Starburst variety. Each cutting is made to order and is non-refundable. The cutting measures approximately 12 inches, unless otherwise specified.

The Asunta 5 Starburst was sourced by Mayumi Garden from Three Lucky Mountain in the Philippines.

This variety is a seedling sibling of other Asunta 5 types, featuring thick, broad stems. When in bloom, its flower resembles the Tricia variety, while the fruit is similar to Asunta 5 Paco but with a darker hue.

Known for its vigorous growth and heavy fruit production, the Asunta 5 Starburst thrives in our garden. Like its siblings, it is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination to set fruit.

By purchasing cuttings, grafted, or rooted plants from our shop, buyers agree to the following terms:

• Once the plant leaves our care, we cannot control the conditions or handling during shipment. Any lost or damaged packages are the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim with USPS. Packages are insured up to $100, with additional insurance available upon request.
• These grafts are well-established and securely connected to the rootstock. However, if they break due to rough handling during transit, it is the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim with USPS. Mayumi Garden does not offer refunds or exchanges under these circumstances.
• All sales are final. Plants are non-returnable and non-refundable.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS

If you purchase a cutting, please allow the cut end to dry and callous before placing it in soil or water. Planting the cutting too early may result in rot. Once planted, keep the cutting in a shaded area until it is rooted, then gradually acclimate it to full sun.

If you purchase a rooted plant, slowly acclimate it to partial sun and then to full sun. If temperatures rise above 95°F, we recommend placing your plants under shade cloth. If the temperature drops below 32°F, provide appropriate protection.

Care Tips:

Soil: Use cactus mix or other well-draining soil.

Light: Full sun to partial sun.

Water: Dragon fruit does not like sitting in water. Water only when the soil is completely dry.

Fertilizer: Chicken or cow manure, compost, or fish fertilizer can be used.

We ship year-round every Monday to locations throughout the United States, except Alaska and Hawaii. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Please allow 3 to 5 business days for packing and processing. To ensure your order ships on Monday, the cut-off time is Sunday at 1:00 P.M.
