Chamaecereus silvestrii, commonly known as the Peanut Cactus, is a charming and fast-growing cactus characterized by its numerous finger-like stems that resemble peanuts. This low-growing succulent forms dense clumps with bright green cylindrical stems covered in soft, white spines.
The Peanut Cactus produces stunning, large, funnel-shaped orange to red flowers during the spring and summer, which contrast beautifully with its green stems. Its compact size and attractive blooms make it an excellent addition to any cactus collection or container garden.
